About the GA series
GA is the Gear Hub series built around the 160 watt lighting platform. It is the range most owners of hatchbacks, sedans and compact SUVs end up on: a substantial jump in output over a stock halogen bulb, in a body compact enough to fit behind the dust caps that most factory headlamp housings use.
What defines the series
- A common 160 watt platform, so output and beam behaviour are consistent across the range.
- Direct socket replacement — the bulb goes into the existing holder with no cutting or drilling.
- A compact heatsink assembly designed to clear tight factory housings.
- Covered by Gear Hub warranty, with claims handled by our support team in India.
Exact socket, wattage, colour temperature and warranty period are listed on each product page — check those figures against your car rather than assuming they are identical across the series.
Who the GA series suits
Choose GA if you drive a mix of city and highway, want a clear improvement in night visibility, and have a standard reflector or projector headlamp with limited space behind the dust cap. It is the sensible default for daily-driven cars.
Choosing within the series
Start from your socket. Cars sold in India commonly use H4, H7, H11, H19 or 9012/HIR2, and the socket is listed on every product in the series. Then check the beam position — some cars use one bulb for both low and high beam, others use separate bulbs plus a fog lamp. Finally, confirm the year range on our vehicle page for your model, because facelifts often change the socket mid-generation.
Before you order
Measure the clearance behind your headlamp housing if your car uses a deep dust cap, replace bulbs in pairs so both sides match, and register your warranty here after purchase. GA products are sold through our official Amazon and Flipkart storefronts.
